Dr. Robins spent 26 years of his life serving on active duty in the United States Air Force in addition to 4 years spent as a cadet at the United States Air Force Academy. Serving as a physician and surgeon for his fellow service members—both in the combat zone and back home in garrison—was the most rewarding professional aspect of his life. He is passionate about helping those committed to serving this nation and the principles it represents. He has spent over a quarter of a century helping service members and tactical athletes recover from injury and navigate through the administrative hurdles and physical requirements of their respective branches of service. Being a retired US Air Force Colonel, he is committed in his current role as an academic orthopaedic sports surgeon to leverage his experience to provide that same level of service and understanding to those serving as ‘tactical athletes’ in our communities and nation.
